About the artistAn autodidact, I began working in art in 2004-2013 in Tel Aviv/Jaffa. I was studying and practicing oil painting and intaglio printmaking and woodwork with alumni of Bezal'el and Shenkar schools focusing on the dada movement, then deconstructivism, and post modern art in general. Since 2013 I have been working in Vancouver on wood furniture and sculpture, concentrating on offset lathe work. My practice in art balances my other life spent traveling and living with remote First Nations and Inuit communities in northern Canada delivering health care. I feel a great deal of influence from my time living with and
