About the artistI am a self taught artist. After spending most of my life believing I was not a creative person, in 2007 I rented a studio space with some friends and began experimenting with colourful paint and blank canvases. It was a revelation. And it continues to be a leap of faith. Cultivating an artistic practice stretches and inspires me. Painting is an invitation to see the world - and myself - differently. It encourages me to let go of perfection and expectation. It slows me down and connects me with the natural world. It helps me remember that we are all creative beings, with an innate ability to be artists. I look forward to seeing you in Studio 224 - 1000 Parker Street during the Crawl!
